I know that this is a Camaro, but, I have a question about that paint combo thats on it. Also I'm thinking about painting my SC the same as this.

My brother had this car back in 94, he heard that this car was a "California Car" talking about the options on the car. The paint, which is very similar to the Corvette Pace Cars of the late 70's early 80's, it also had woodtrim in the interior on the dash and the console. The ground effects were Z/28 peices with the Z/28 spot deleted. Other than that there was nothing special about it, it had the standard 2.8 V6 with auto. Also, I have only seen one other one like it in a car trader mag for sale, but it was an 87 and this one is an 86.

But, back to my car, what do you all think of this paint scheme on an SC? Please reframe from the obvius GM connection to it, for I do not care about that.

I don't think I'd paint the fender lips the other color. Why not just do 35th replica. It's better looking.

Thought about it, but, I want something just a little different.

I think it would be unique and look good myself...

Yeah, I think it would look pretty good too. And if YOU like it that is TRUELY what counts.

It's nice but I'd agree with Scott that its too much like the 35th. I attached 2 pics of a 2 tone paint scheme that is my personal favorite. Forgive me that its rendered on a Chevelle.

I'd do the black as a semi-gloss; Boss 302 black paint is available. Paint the sides (and wheels) a bright color for a comp. look or the Bird pearl white with chrome wheels for a custom.

But its what you like that realy counts.
