In an attempt to keep confusion down between threads, I'll post this. Otherwise, it seems like it's getting a tad confusing in the other thread about the Midwest Meet - that one is basically to see if there's interest in having one at some point this year.

I would be interested in the meet on Jan 21st. I will be driving my SHO, the T-Bird's motor is in pieces and it and my Cobra are in the garage for the winter! I'll talk to the other Topeka guys and see if they are interested

I'll be there.. we might have 3-4 coming down? Two of them are about 50/50 on it, and another one might come down if he can get his CEL taken care of. Like I said, I'm still planning to be there and will be there later in the afternoon. I have no problem meeting up with you guys later if the location is easy to find for an out-of-towner like me :D

And do I haveta e-mail ya Marc... I mean, after all - you already have my cell number :p I'll be one of the N/A.. 5.4 Liters of N/A power :D

Woo.. a week to go. And it's looking like I might be leaving sooner than 1pm - more like 10am :D I talked to my supervisor this morning, and after a little persuasion (and working on my day off Wednesday) I just haveta run 2 stores instead of potentially more.

Hopefully, I'll roll into the general area about 2 instead of 5.

Sorry, I cant make it on Jan. 21st. I have to much going on this time of year and even if I could get away, I'd have to bring the Mark VIII. :o

Actually, I was thinking we were planning something later in the spring. My SC wont be running until mid April and I'm headed for the Dyno in Lincoln on April 29th. :D

We are - atleast I thought we were? This is a semi-spur of the moment thing I believe? Do you have Club Clash dates? I'm not sure when we are planning this, but it'll probably be another KC meet like 2002 I believe. A bunch of people, racing at KCIR, pushing a van outta the way :D and swimming in the hot tub :D

And by the way, I got your check Mike :D Just so you know - your in.

The spring Club Clash will most likely be around May 20th but I wont know for sure until TriState publishs the 06 schedule. That wont happen until the 3rd week of Feb or so ....

FYI, I'd like to put in a vote for early June for a return to KCIR .....

I'll be coming over on Friday for the dyno day. Should be in about five or so! I still need to talk with Thomas about a motel.....

Request from a fellow SC'er this Saturday.. I'd like to go for a ride, or even a short drive if that's possible :D I need to get the bug back and get more than just the "I can't wait to drive my 'Bird again" thoughts.

A ride would be great, and a drive is better but certainly not needed. I just need to hear blower whine in person again :D

I would help ya but I will have the LX there. I DID drive the SC today to make sure that 3rd and 4th are screwed up....Yep...got stuck in 3rd and had to manhandle it. Time for the new tranny. It will be down till prolly May now 'cause of the new mods...huh huh...wait and see me.

I'm gonna be in the area on the 21st-will be at a planning meeting for the Route 66 cruise in June-we're meeting at Don Chilitos at 7017 Johnson in Mission, KS. Maybe what I'll do is come down on Friday evening, stay in the Overland Park area, hook up with you guys until about 12:30, then head to my meeting.

FYI-really close to finishing the Shootout video!!!:D

Ok....all has not gone well. Of the 20 plus pix I took, NONE of them will transfer to the computer. I dont know what is going on. All the ones of my daughter are on there but the cars are not. Go friggin figure.

To all that missed it today. There were about ten of us. I think everyone had a good time sharing stories and tellin lies. But best of all, it looked really cool drivin down the road at the back of the pack while we were on the highway.

we had a blast and a very good turnout.I just wish it was a little warmer for it.I think for our first kansas meet it turned out very well.It was great to meet everyone that came and to put a name with a face and to see such wonderfull looking birds.

great time! 3 of us from wichita had fun & meet & greet all who was there.
thanks to all that organized this & a slap on the back to Marc B. & his family
for hosting the gang, thanks to Erica (happyB-day);) for letting "multi-tasking" Marc go & fetch the lost sheep from wichita when we arrived in the area :)

hoo- hoo!! we didnt get kicked out of any place too. hum.... didnt stay on one place long either?? I got some video (3) 10 megs each of driving.

all for now.......lets do it again soon!
