I see that the club is now accepting donations to upgrade the server. How about having a raffle similiar to the one that TCCOA has. The club could raise a nice amount of money to cover the upgrade and everyone would have a chance to win something very cool. Anyone else like this idea?

I may have assumed that this would be where Bill might step in with something from SCP. Depending on whatever he "donates" and if he might consider a "full donation" all the money would go towards the server. If not it can be done with a percentage of the proceeds going towards Bill's donation, or even enough of the proceeds going to cover the wholesale cost of his donation. Many raffles sell enough tickets to cover most of the cost of the item being raffled off with the extra money going toward the "cause." I may be able to speak to Bob White also to see if he might be interested in donating something to add to the "pot." The item would obviously have to be of fair value, at least the remaining ballance of the cost of the server.

What's wrong with the way Schools and Churches get cash... Do a 50/50... That can raise plenty of cash at $10 a pop. If enough people buy plenty of tickets, then a 4k pot will be a nice payoff to the winner and throw a nice chuck towards the server...
