powder coating question

Is there any problem with powdercoating your supercharger and plenum? I dont know about the internals of the blower. Are there any rubber seals inside there besides the snout seal. I need to know if this is doable as I have a guy here that will do it for $125. Thanks

I pull the supercharger apart when i powdercoat. I remove all bearings and seals from the snout and back of the case. I then polish the bearing section. A complete supercharger would probably take and hour at 400'

I did mine similar to how BKB described. Only difference is I used Dupont powders and I think the temp was 300* for around 20-22 minutes.
If you use a true ceramic coating (JetHot type etc) then the temp will need to be 500* for around an hour.
