Abs System "re-set"

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to re-set the ABS system after changing out an ABS module on an early SC (1990). The last dealer diagnosis for my car was a potentially faulty module (code 11). The dealer "re-set" the ABS system, and the light stayed of for a while, but eventually came back on and stayed on. I replaced the module with one from a boneyard, and the ABS light is still on.

I know that you cannot retrieve or clear "hard" codes from 11-29 with a standard EEC/ABS code reader. Is there a way to re-set the system without another trip to the dealer?? Pulling all system fuses/battery power doesn't "do it".

Thanks as Always....Greg Swiercz

As far as I can remember, after replacing my ABS system you have to drive the car at a certain speed for a certain length of time with the system functioning correctly to clear the error codes.

I think the info is in the Haynes manual.
