I am happy to announce that 2006 is set to be the best year to be a member of the Late Model Mustang Club of CT! We have some very big exciting news to share about relationships with several businesses in Connecticut....and we have more to come after this!

Gearheads Performance Products & Speed Shop will be joining us in February of 2006 when they open their doors in North Haven! They will be a full service speed shop, and will have alot of Drag and Circle Track racing parts that customers may need in stock. They will also have full line of auto accessories to fits customers cars, trucks, and suv's. Items they do not stock should be able to have within 1-2 days. The store is going to be geared towards weekend warriors who work on their cars themselves. Stay tuned for more information about them!

Pickleworks Deli and Grill has come on board as a sponsor for 2006! Our own Pickleman owns this amazing facility and if you haven't eaten there, I strongly recommend it - the food is exceptional! Any club member will receive 10% off their bill - that also includes catering - all they have to do is show their valid club card.

We are in the process of finalizing a Ford dealership as a primary sponsor as well. Unfortunately due to the holidays we were unable to finish the paperwork in time for today's announcement - but hopefully we should be able to make this announcement tomorrow night.

LMMC-CT's First Club Meet of 2006!
February 26th, 2006

Join us as we start the year off in style and welcome all our renewing LMMC-CT Club Members & prospective new recruits at this season opening event!

Date: February 26th, 2006
Location: 8 Meeting House Road Stratford CT 06614
Times: 1PM - 6PM
Event Status: OPEN TO EVERYONE!
Cost: $10 at the door
Directions: Will be posted shortly (Easily Accessible from RT8, 95, & 84)


Event Details:
This season is set to be our best year ever so come join us the afternoon of February 26th and help kick off LMMC-CT's 2006 season with some good food, great times, and even better people!

On our buffet style menu will be Sausage & Peppers, Ravioli, Baked Ziti, Texas Toast, & Salad. We'll also have desert table with brownies, cookies, and cakes. Soda and other drink will be provided. You should bring your own alcoholic beverages if you plan to drink. We will have several coolers on ice for you to store you drinks.

There are pool tables and some other games on site for those interested.

We'd like to use this time for our members to get together before our larger events to get better acquainted. We'd also like to welcome all of our new members to the Club and introduce them to as many people as possible. This is also a great time for those of you that have still not decided to become members to come out and see what we are all about. Since we do so much more than just events related to our hobbies!

At this meet we also plan to hand out the 2006 LMMC-CT Membership Packages to everyone in attendance. We'll also briefly discuss the events planned for the year and take and answer any questions that you may have about these events.

With all that said we're planning on this event being a huge success and are asking that all current Club Members come out and show your support and help welcome our new members and those planning on joining the Club!

If you are planning on attending this event please let us know by replying to this thread. Please only reply if you intend on attending so that we can get an accurate account of people for food and supplies. If you plan on coming with a date or friend please also be sure to mention that. I will add a list shortly and keep it update with the people attending.
