1993 5-speed How much is it worth?

I found a 1993 5-speed SC. I'm wondering how much it's worth.

It's got 150,000 or so miles. A dent on the left rear quarter, a broken right front corner light, yellow headlights, leather on the front seats is kinda worn, and the shifter ball is missing.

It's blue with black interior.

Blue book private party is right around 2k as you described the car.
I'm a cheapskate. If I were buying it, I'd offer around $500 and wouldn't go over $1000.
If it were RED it would easily be worth double...maybe triple ;)

Seriously, can you get any maint. records? Have the HG's been done? Are the cats original. These would both be about finished if they are original. Can you get the last smog certificate/report? I would start at $2500 and start subtracting things that need doing...$700 for body work, $50 for a shifter ball, tires?, brakes?...etc, etc...If it has passed smog recently offer around $1500, if not 1k is a good starting point.

We'll the car is located at a police impound lot. So I basically can't get any records from it and can't talk to a previous owner. I can't even test drive it. They only allow you to turn the car on. So all the brakes, hg and stuff would be a big mistery.

If it still has tags on it we can find the last time it was smogged and how many tries it took to pass. As it sits, $1000 would be a reasonable starting point.
