Ok. I have been looking for a hood, and I cam across (what I believe) MAY be a VERY good deal for about 5 of us.
Fiber Concepts, the company who makes the hood for SCP, has talked to me and is willing to cut pricing based on a few things.
For a sale of 5 (five) hoods - same style hood for same year, make, and model car (this means a cowl induction Cobra R style hood with NO scoops in it), he can cut $75.00 from the price of each hood making the cost $375.00 per hood.
He would need to receive his payment(s) in full to place the order. I would encourage you to pay him direct so I am left out of that part.
He will make the hoods (five total)
He is making an offer to meet me half way (2 hours round trip for both he and I instead of 4 hours round trip for me).
I bring the hoods back, and you local guys can pick them up at mu house so you don't pay for shipping and crate fees.
I only ask that since I am driving a big block dullie you all split the gas cost with me (example: If the fuel cost was $100.00, you each give me $20.00 when you pick up your hood).
If ANYONE is interested, please contact me right away so I can finalize the details with Fiber Concepts.
There is one detail we need to work out. I don't want to take anyone's money, but it is a liability for Fiber Concepts to take five seperate payments for hoods, and then release the hoods to one person. It would look as though you paid him for the hood, but he gave it to me. I don't know, maybe we can all write a letter with our payment allowing him to relinguish the hoods to me, but then you guys have to "trust" me to bring them back. You can trust me, but I am hoping some how that we can arrange this and keep me, Fiber Concepts, and the other 4 guys who take part in this protected individually.

By the way, I live in Baltimore, MD (around the Catonsville area), so you would have to drive to me to get your hood... unless your place is directly on the way back from receiving the hoods, then I would bring it to your house).
