help with code

i have gotten an intermittant engine code #124 while driving. the engine light will stay on for several minutes and then go out. i looked up the code , its for throttle pos. sensor voltage higher than expected. i have changed out the sensor but cont. to get code any suggestions?

Voltage is changed by rotating the TPS. Loosen the screws that hold the TPS on and measure the voltage on the green wire going to the TPS. It should be around .96V.

If you can't rotate the TPS body enough to get to 0.96-99v, then remove the sensor & using a small drill bit or round jewelers file elongate the metal sleeves where the retaining screws go. That should give you more rotational range.
