Hey Manny,
I am still around, I do check the board from time to time, but haven't really posted anything new. As always everyday that I drive my bird, some other issue comes up with it. maybe its trying to tell me something. Tranny took a Bump on me. Clutch travel is one inch or less and it starts to grab, and slightly after that, no more pedal resistance Oh well it could be worse, I could drop in in Reverse going down the track. ;) (right carlos) I'll give you a call sometime this week.
Thanks....
Hey Darkstar One those rims look pretty good. How hard is it to get some Cobra caliper rotors in our SC's ???? any and all info is appreciated..
Thanks...

Most of us are n the construction phase, some of us for the second or third time  I expect by late March, early April John Shelton, Lee Maust, James Kanterakis Val Mojica and myself will be rolling out new powerplants and organizing for upcoming meets. Hopefully Mike D. will get on that bandwagon as well (then again, his is the only one still together, in one piece and running).

Him and I should line up the bigger trucks together at the next meet....no way in hell I'm going against that black thing that showed up at his house. :o

We'll that's how my T-bird currently looks. I went to the pick your part in Wilmington and all the 96-97's were missing their fronts:mad: and their cupholders. Was it any of you guys that grabbed them?

I'm on mommy duty this week. Funny how one kid (my own) keeps me more busy than 40 of someone else's when school is open. My car is running hunky-doorey (than you spell it!) other than the same old tired cats that I've whinning about since '99. It's been a few weeks since I started it but it isn't leaving puddles of anything so I'll assume it isn't trying to get my attention. Opps...gotta go Mack just shot out through the doggy door.....again:p

Hey Manny --
just hit 47K miles on the new engine.....getting lean misfires during very light throttle conditions, like it has a vacuum leak, but it idles smooth as silk with 21 inches of vac on the gauge......bad MAF? or maybe the Bosch Plat 2 plugs are crapping out....dunno.......seems like the minute you get one thing fixed , the next item in line falls out of place
wanna take a ride around lake arrowhead, need to test the new Proxes T1 tires :-)

or maybe the Bosch Plat 2 plugs are crapping out That sounds like your problem.
Paul
thx Paul -- I heard an ugly rumor about those plugs, but thought I'd give them a whirl anyhow...thought bosch was a-rated product
....got a new set of Autolite Plats ready to go....if not that-- the injectors may be reaching end of life, I clean them often with ethanol and tolulene added to fuel, but chemicals only work to a point....
gonna look for a set of lo-mile nozzles to install next time the blower comes off [needs new coupler soon]
