anybody ever replace Eaton with a centrifugal?

03 Cobra guys have done it. The resulting loss of low and mid range power is amazing. They do make bigger peak numbers though.

so the centrifugal causes loss of power downlow but better up top
or its an improvement down low?

No, the centrifugal loses low end and midrange power/torque, but picks up in top end.
