My '90 SC 5-peed has a '95 mustang GT MAS air housing, K&N FIPK for the '95 GT, 10% over drive super charger pulley, factory cats no ressonator, and straight-through mufflers. every thing else is stock. When I had the stock charger pulley on it the thing would run up to 5,000 no problem through the first three gears. Now with the 10% over drive, it runs up 5,000 in 1st and 2nd. When I'm in 3rd and higher, it backs out around 4,000. I think it's the factory down tubes and cats, if anyone else can think of any thing else let me know. Biggin:D

10% pulley calls for new down tubes and new high flow cats. The stock cats have a 90 degree bend on one side and are way low on flow.

I'm not saying that's your problem, but it could be and is certainly an issue to take seriously.
