hello, i am a new owner to the super coupe groupe. i am a 13 year ford tech that is in big trouble. i recently bought a 90 sc that has a few issues that i can deal with but the big problem is my brake systen is leaking at the abs hyd pump motor and was told that it will take a new unit.the problem is that its 1400$ from ford and they quit making the parts for the abs system. i knew that if there was any groupe of people that could help ne it would be you guys.so the question is does anyone know of aftermarket hyd. brake systems that have been rebuilt that i could buy, or is it cheaper to just bo back to a standered drake system.and if so what parts do i need.any help would be helpful seeings how i have owned it for 24 hours and the repair os going to cost me more than i paid for it.i really like the car and dont mind spending some but a bunch is to much. thanks. shane foley smt ford tech.

Prior Reman remanufactures the Teves II (among many others) and as far as I know is about the only place that you can get the ABS system from now days. Here's the link: http://www.priorreman.com/index.htm

Hope that helps. I haven't called about the ABS system, but the also reman the accumulators as well. And I'm sure it's cheaper than Ford.

you guy are the $H!t.thank you for the info.next time i can get a day off i will do the conversion.the only reason i am not going to buy the reman abs system is because i need to do about 1000$ worth of other stuff to the vehicle to get the car in the shap i would like it to be in.my wife bought the car for me because it was cheap , and i do work on fords for a living.i drove it to work yesterday and fell in love with the car. im hooked. thanks again and i'll be back.

Oh it definitely isn't worth it in the least to pay $1,000 for a stand-alone ABS system.

Yes, good choice, do the conventional brake swap. Be done, forget about it, and be happy.
