So I start my '89 last night and the clutch pedal goes to the floor with little pressure. I was able to put it in gear, but would catch after I let the pedal out an inch. After a couple of shifts, it completely went out. All of the clutch fluid leaked out onto the driveway. The clutch has always felt solid so this was somewhat of a suprise. Is this a bad slave cylinder, or is it possible that a line somewhere sprung a leak. Or something else altogether?
I'm a veteren of a head gasket rebuild, but I don't have much experience with the clutch system. I plan on doing all of the work myself so any ideas of where to look first would be helpful. Thanks.
