are 89-93 and 94-95 starters interchangeable?

well my car has does not have a starter solenoid on the body unlike the 89-93s. I need to know because i am putting a 5.0 in my 94 and could I use a 5.0 or 3.8 starter from a pre 94 tbird?
 
It should have, just in a different spot than the earlier cars, IIRC. Don't make me go in the garage and have to pull the cover off my 95. :p

For a V8 / M5R2 swap, I think you need the 92 - 96 F-150 manual trans. starter for everything to line up properly. The MN-12 5.0L used the same starter as the SC.

I have scrapted that idea for now so its gonna be for an AOD. So my 94sc starter doesnt have anything extra on it than say a starter for a car with a soleniod
