I have a 945spd with ride control, and my rear shocks are shot... over bumps i can hear them back there bumping, and they squeek if i push down on car.
They are less noisy in firm mode

The front struts are just fine, and being i am on a limited budget i just want a replacement part, i dont necessarily need to upgrade.

Ford wants $175 apeice for them, and none of the parts stores in my town can get them, they send me to ford.

Is there an affordable option online you guys know of?
or can i just swap in non-arc?

Tokico Illumina II's are the only shock (other than Ford) that retain the ARC. You can swap in any other shock you want without problems, but the Firm Ride light might blink at you.

Here's a supplier to try...

www.shox.com

They have the Tokico Illumina electronic adjustables for the SC (the stock replacement) at around $470 for a set of 4, or the Tokico Springs (1.5" drop) and Shocks as a set for around $620. If you want non-adjustables, they also carry Koni shocks, Eibach springs, and several other manufacturers.

Some folks don't like the Tokico combo package, but I've had mine for a couple of years now with no complaints...
