I think I may need a new crank position sensor because my car won't start.

I'm looking for the upshift light when I crank it to confirm.
Where is it?
I have never seen it, even when I needed to upshift.
is it in the row with the battery, abs, brake, Frim Ride, Check Engine?
Is it suppposed to come on when you turn the car in the on position (self check all lights go on and then off)

I believe it is on the bottom of the tach (can't remember now). It should only come on for a second when you first start the car. I've only heard of it coming on while running in AOD cars at excessive speeds. It is amber in color.

ok, I see where you are saying, It never lights up... not even KoEo. I guess I will just throw a Crank Sensor in to get it running. No spark... It must be it.

The upshift light lights up at the top of fourth as well..... AKA somewhere over 110mph, I wasint paying attention....... yeeeee haw.

well the light is finally on.
