Ron,
I was wondering if you plan on re-opening the "members" section of the board. I thought it was a nice option....would it be possible to just remove the "Top 0 posters" option (if that was the reason)? It's amazing to me how that little option baits some people into posting, and replying needlessly just to be on the top of a list! I really don't care about who has the most posts, and it's not the end of the world, but I feel that the members database was very useful when looking for a particular member.... especially when you might be trying to add members to your buddy list, email, etc. I hope we didn't all have to lose it because some may have abused it.

Jeff,

I am still debating what to do about that, I have a hard enough time with the server performance and it seems that people post for no good reason except to see their names high in the list.

Give me some more time to weigh the decision.

In the meantime, I am working on the member section of sccoa.com. I have finished the database design and the display script. I am in the midst of populating the database with everyone's information. Once that is done, I will be writing the script to allow people to edit their information.

Thanks Ron....sounds like a plan! Now all you have to do is disable the text under the username where it says "Posts"!!! (I'm sure that would fly like a stuck pig!! LOL) All I can say is that I hope all of my (110) posts were helpful, or necessary as I saw it!! Homey don't wanna be no "postitute"!!

;)

PS-I also try not to always include my signature pic in every post...I would think it helps a little in conserving bandwidth...no? Man I thought 120 was allot of posts! Seems to me like some people post their every thought and idea! The TCCoA opened their vBulletin what, a couple weeks after you did, and they've got people in the 400+ numbers already! Who could possibly have that much to say legitimately? It truly bogles the mind IMO!
