94 & up style gas tank

i just installed a 95 style gas tank in my 89 sc and the drivers side of the tank is sagging down. the fuel gauge is also going empty faster and when i fill up it only takes 6 to 7 gallons to fill it. i was woundering if anyone else had any problems with their gas tank sagging or not.

Did you get both straps with the tank? One of them is different (can't remember which one off the top of my head). Also, are you sure you have it positioned properly? They basically sculpted the tank around the floorpan. I would check the straps first and make sure they are installed properly (tightened down fully and not broken).
