Hey guys,
I am trying some alternate lighting methods for the LED panels on the back of our cars. I don't know if this is going to work or not, but to try, I need to get a set of the red lenses that don't work so I can try my hand at getting them cut off and do some wiring inside of then and seeing if my idea will work. I need a right and a left, and will pay shipping, but am wondering if anyone has a burned out set with good lenses they are willing to part with on a no charge, or for little money? I am not confident at all to pay 150.00 for a good set of led strips I won't need, nor to run the risk of screwing up and busting the lenses.
I would even take a an LX set with the black stip maybe, but I don't know if I can get the black paint off good enough from the inside and if by chance this works I'd like to be able to put it on the car without having to make another set. I think if I get it right it is gonna be by the skin of my teeth, lol.
