94 sc with a bad misfire/very noise

One place to start is by checking the order that the plug wires are plugged into the DIS. Many manuals have a misprint in their diagram. I think the #5 and #6 are swapped. To test it, unplug one of the wires, then start the car. If the idle is worse, that means you unplugged a good one. Shut the car off, plug that wire in, and proceed to the next. If the idle doesn't get worse with a wire unplugged, that means that plug wasn't doing anything good to begin with. If you find 2 plug wires like that, try swapping them. If it's just one, check the rest of the wire, make sure it's fully on the plug, and if that all looks good, then try replacing that plug.

I hope this helps you out.

P.S. - be careful with all that electricity. I don't know which is better - to ground the unplugged wire or to insulate it. But in any case, make sure that voltage doesn't travel through you or any sensitive electronics.
