4R70W trans question on Valve bodies

Does anyone know, can I use the valve body out of a 1994 LX 4.6L in a 1994 SC?

I'm helping a friend who has a fubared trans, and another friend has a 4.6L valve body with the updated and J-jod lready done.

I know the cases are different as far as the bellhousing pattern goes, but just need to know if the valve bodies are the same.

Also, can a Mark VIII tq converter be used with the 94-95 SC's?

The valvebody is exactly the same no problems there. The markVIII converter can be used with a markVIII flexplate.

He has a Mark VIII tq converter and flexplate already, we just weren't sure if the crank pattern was the same. Good to hear it will work

Does anyone know what a mk 8 converter will stall at on a stock SC?

About 2300 on the brake. Realistically 2600
