Easy way to remove EEC?

Any hints on easiest way to remove EEC? Jaws of Life is not an option! Lots of panels & cables in there and the shop manual offered no help. All I need is to get the codes off the end, not even pull it out.

There's a nice little bolt holding it in place that you have to take out before you pull too hard.

Once I got mine out, I zip tied it up under the dash and left it there. I have no desire to attempt to put it back. Especially as often as I've tuned it...once per year so far...

It took me an hour first time. But then, if you know what are you doing it only takes 5-10 minutes if so...Here's some tips:
First remove the passengers side kick panel. Then remove the glove box. Using a 1O mm socket remove the one nut holding the ECU's wiring harness to the ECU. A white plastic bracket will be holding the ECU in place. Remove the one screw holding the ECU in place. Pull the ECU down and out. You are good to go!
