Really Loud Squeak when I turn the steering wheel

This in not on my T-Bird but on my Daily Driver Focus....
It started like a month ago but it has progressively gotten worse...
Everytime I turn the steering wheel to turn, it squeaks SO LOUD....
now its almost unbereable to hear because it so loud....
What the problem? Can I fix it without taking to the shop?

You have checked to see if there's fluid in the pump resivoir, right?

Seems weird, but check your balljoints. Before my passenger lower balljoint fell out, it was squeeking really loud when I turned the wheel.

is the pump belt driven? If it is then see if the belt is loose or hard/cracked - OLD
