does anyone else have this problem? if you disconect the battery it is pain in the a$$ to get it running right again? sometimes the cel comes on and it wants to stall but after i run it through the gears and stop a few times it's fine is that just the computer relearning or what? if anyone has any input let me know

Mine doesn't actually stall or set a CEL.

But it does take a tank of gas to get the idle smooth as silk. Yes the computer does do some learning.

My uneducated guess is the motor is running lean, from base computer settings for a cold start, from recall it is way lean for EPA regs.
What I did was change the cold start air fuel ratio on my SCT chip.

AF ratio varies according to temperature at coldstart, and I was always have a tough time getting it to idle smoothly at startup when the temp was below 60 F.
So I copied the AFR for 32 F into the 60 F spot in the program and it works.
In my case, since I changed a coulple of things, the 'adaptive learning' of the EEC computer would never get it right from 60 F to 32F.
