Supercharger Coupler Question...

Okay, Well i have a snout from an early model SC that i was rebuilding a while back but got lazy. Anywho. I know the snouts are interchangable and so is the shaft... The question is about the coupler... Are the solid ones just a quick installation or do i still require the spring? Do you just align the the holes from the shaft into the solid coupler and then to the rotor pack? or do you still require the spring? thanks

I assume you mean the solid one Wynn sells. Its simple to put in, take off the snout, remove the old coupler, slide the new one on, line it up and bolt it back together. Quick and easy!

Re: Solid Coupler

Magnum Powers used one of those solid couplers when they built my MP II last fall. If they use the solid coupler, I trust it.
