Have any of you used the LiveWires spark plug wires that SCP is selling? What's your impression of them? I don't see any spec. on resistance per foot.

My car still has the OEM 1989 spark plug wires on it. I think it's time for a change.

Nice wires nice heat sheilds but they come apart.
How about Super Glueing the boots to the wires, & the sheilds to the wires? I've heard of doing that to the crappy yellow Accel wires. Suppose to work on those, why wouldn't it work on the LiveWires?

The heat shrink ends slide apart so that may work. Also the heat shrink ends rip. Are they making coil packs now?..They said they were in teh works last year last I checked

Low resistance wires have in the past not proven to be a good idea on our ignition system.

Magnecor 10mm racing wires on the 94. I've had them on the car since '99.
I'm thinking of contacting them to see if they make their 8.5mm in blue.

I personally dont think those posts help.
I run accell extreme wires (best in my book) with Denso Iridiums with Amazingly great results. Jacobs wires are just crap. I know very few peopel that have had good luck with them
However things that have been mentioned such as lowering Gap when increasing boost holds true. And increasing when NA with a hotter ignition holds true as well. To make maximum power you want your gap as wide as posssable without flame blowout...With an Supercharger you generally need to lower the Gap because of that thing called flame blowout.
Denso iridiums and preset Gap and accell ectremes..GREAT! I ran without misfire up to 21psi with that combination. Factory ignition!
Oh and theory is just that..Theory!

Good deal. Now I have to wonder why they have two different part numbers for the early model and late model cars.

I just stick with a Ford or other high quality factory replacement wire. Of course I'm not putting enough power down to blow out the spark like a few of our SC folks around here.
I just run stock double platinum plugs, though the one with the shorter tip that doesn't extend into the combustion chamber like the stock one does.
