Crankshaft Work - Need Estimates of Cost & Places

I've got a 5.0 L crank that I want to get worked over and checked. What does it cost for a basic cleaning and checking of the journals, etc.? I just want to make sure it's safe for 500 hp. Also, what would you estimate to have everything balanced? Any other services I should request to get the crank in the best possible condition? What places could you guys recommend? Thanks for the help

Canadian chrome is wear most of the machine shops send cranks to be balanced and re chromed back to standard size I think there in Weston area

Is east of the 400 at the 401 i think it's north of wilson. I know you can see it from the 400 north

If not Canadian Chrome you could try Howie. Do a search for him here in the SCCoO for his contact info. Last year he quoted me $225 for rebalancing my entire engine internals.
