but only for parts. Its a '92 with a wrecked body, but mechanically its good. The motor has about 40k on it and its a 5 speed, silver with a maroon interior.

I'll be keeping the motor more than likely and everything to do the 5 spd swap on my '90...... but the rest may be up for sale. Once the car shows up I'll be able to better inventory what is good and see what I'm allowed to keep (my wife seems to have a say in this part due to storage space LOL! ).

Keep you all posted.....

Hey Fraser

Is that something you picked up locally? Good deal for the whole car?

cheers

BrainP posted about it a couple of months ago, and the guy actually looked me up.... turns out the car is about 10 minute drive south of me, and the price was great :), and he'll be bringing the car to me by the end of the week.

Unfortunately the body is shot, and its been banged up with a tractor. The guy actually admitted he didn't know what he had until after moving it around the farm so exterior body parts are pretty much out of the question .

Fortunately he had the motor running and drove it around and mechanically its great, and the tranny shifted very nicely with no grinding.

It turns out the car is an '90. Also I offered the car to my wife as an anniversary present but she "respectively" declined muttering something about divorce papers

joking!

Anyways here's some pics... its a shame seeing this and may be sensitive to some viewers. At least mechanically almost everything is good.

The block still has the Ford Blue paint on it so obviously its been replaced. Is there anyway to tell if the motor is a reman or a new motor?

Tear down has commenced!

I'd be interested in the steering wheel.
How much would you like for it?

Nevermind.

Actually the steering wheel is in the back seat and its in pretty good shape I think. The steering shaft was busted hence the steering wheel not being mounted. Here's some pics.

Make me an offer.
