BWAAAHAHAHAAH.....

YEAH.... RIIIIIIGHT!!!! And who do you HONESTLY know that actually CAN stay outta boost? :p

The only way I can stay outta boost is to remove the blower belt.

I think that pulley setup would be great. You could have a nice 5% or so OD for normal driving and then up it to 10% or more for the strip. No sense in running big boost on the street ALL THE TIME and puting the extra stress on the motor, head gaskets, blower bearings, etc.

You know they DO make a quick change pully set for our cars right?

Chris
Yeah Embree has them on their site but as far as I knew they are 10 rib as opposed to 8 rib and $475.00 is way too expensive

ESM used to offer an 8 rib quick change pulley system too. The ESM 10 rib system is expensive because it includes a wider tensioner pulley, a 10 rib jackshaft pulley and a 10 rib belt.

David

PS: Chris...yours is a 10 rib system.

Pss, David, don't tell Chris but I swapped out his 10 rib pulley for an old junk one before he picked it up. He'll never know.
