Idle, shudder problems on 89 Supercharged SC

I have a 1989 Supercoupe with a supercharger and a myriad of recent problems:

1.When the car is started (takes four seconds) the rpm's rev out of control (up to 3000) and stay high in park and neutral, but go back down in drive or reverse.

2.I have to ride the brake as the speeds up with practically no help

3.Extended acceleration causes the front end to rattle and shudder.

If I can't find a cost-effective solution so some of these problems I'm going to have to let the car go. It's a shame, too, because it's silver-gray with an all black interior and in otherwise good shape.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I tried resetting the idle by disconnecting the battery and that didn't do anything. I tried looking for the EEC but couldn't find it.

Search IAC (IDLE AIR CONTROL)
This servo attaches to the throttle body.
When you turn motor off and get a honk like a goose it is the IAC.

it is IAC, to confirm that it is gone bad, disconnect two wire plug and if nothing changes, then you need to replace it. also if you're short on cash right now, take IAC of the TB and place some strong paper or plastic cover on that surface, then bolt it back on. One you have done that, adjust idle air screw. you're done.
