ok, well I replaced the engine a few weeks ago, and I dont know what the problem is , but I was driving it, and the check engine light came on, and it felt like it was missing, so I had the the wires changed ( the plugs were new from the old engine ) well the car seems to be running fine now, but the cel came on, so I got home and looked around, and nothing seemed to be odd about it, but when I pulled the dipstick, it was smoking and smoke is pouring out of the dipstick tube, is that normal , the dipstick was also hot as hell, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Tony can you give us a little more info? Was it a new or used engine? Are you running a PCV on this engine? Is your breather hooked up to the intake tube? For a CEL light you need to check codes and as far as the smoke it could be simple or fatal just make sure your PCV system is working properly first. Make sure you dont have a kink in the drivers side breather line.
Let us know.
