i heard someone say that these guys had an awesome guarantee. as well as an awesome product.
here's a pic of theirs against our stock one:
Yes, I see there full size shaft compared to the standard step design. Thats what I was looking for. Thanks...
I do not see any labels etc on the oil pan that came with the engine. Using this engine. I am getting all the components together still for this Winter project. Once I have all the major pieces, I will start at the rear axles, then new Ford Racing 8.8 aluminum carrier with 3.73 gears, aluminum drive shaft, then its time to put the engine/trans in. The headers will be a pain, since they will need to be done custom. (1 3/4 long tubes.) I am waiting on the trans and converter to arrive this coming week. The engine install will not be ready till mid Winter.
This is being done instead of buying a new car, so the $10,000 parts cost is not bad, since the car will be a pavement ripper, and have a total new drive train. Body is near perfect, no dents, rust, etc. When done, it will not be a typical cookie cutter car.
If I am not broke when its in, the AFR 185 heads will go on in the early Spring. That will put me in the 540 HP range.
