Ok, I have given up on my polishing trials and will just pay someone else to do it.
My question is why cant I get the shine I need. I took a part and sanded it beyond belief with 320, then I followed it with 400, followed by 800, followed by 1000, then 1500.
When that was done I polished it with Jewelers Rouge, followed by Tripoli. There is a haze in the work. Am I pressing too hard? Am I not using the right items. I think advice from the GuRu's may help the SC-U-Do-Its of the world.
Like I said, I have given up and if you feel the time it takes to reply is a waste. No problem. Just figured this might be a good info thread for the rest of the world.
Thanks guys for having patience, cause I got NONE!
