Wont Run

I have a 1990 Ford TBIRD SC that will start but will not idle, or run, if you do not give it gas it will die. Possibly, I think, it might be vacuum lines, but I have no idea. Anyone who has dealt with this problem, PLease Help!

Sounds like you need to do a fuel pressure test on it. After i got done rebuilding the motor in my car, it did the same thing, i ran a pressure test on it, and it was dropping when the car would try to start. I replaced my fuel filter, and everything has been fine everysince. Always start with the simple things first.....

By the way...the boost gauge reads vac when you give it gas (to keep it running)
 
LOL, I never read the name of the poster. HAd a similiar thing happen to my 89 efi 4x4. The sock melted on the pump and wouldn't let it get gas.

Heres a road map. You have to check around the intercooler tubes as well they leak alot too.
i have a ford repair manual if you need any other pictures

just say your other post. Did you make sure to seal the IC tubes, the top ?
