4.6l bird not running right help

update car was twitching at idle again

im thinking a misfire but the car seems to run and drive fine when under normal sane driving

but when you get on it it has no power at low rpm

and acceleration is not smooth it jerks on the tach a little


im confused

Could be a misfire, did you check all your plugs and wires ? Mine did that a long time ago when i got water on the engine.

Did you wash the engine? That's a good way to get water down into the spark plug holes. That would cause a misfire.

After reading your other posts on TCCOA I would try a new MAF sensor, and or check the fuel pressure.

would a mass air be bad but not throw a check engine?


yes i have washed the engine but it was awhile back
