Basically any AOD will physically fit in an SC. The only exception might be one from a Crown Vic or a Truck (due to possible differences in the length of the tail housing). The critical factor for putting an "aftermarket" AOD in an SC is the overdrive servo. It needs to have the "A" servo (A+ or A++ is even better) to handle the increased torque. If it came from a 5.0 Mustang, it probably had a "B" servo. The Manual Shift Lever on the side of the tranny will need to be reconfigured for an SC because the Mustang points up and the SC points down...
