if you pay through paypal..dont they refund you in certain situations?? cant you cancal the transaction on your credit card...if you have capitol one credit card..call them and explain you were taken and they will "back charge" who ever ripped you, almost like canceling it...i imagine someone pays for it eventually?? probably by charging fees and stuff we dont know about...i did this twice, both times they took the charge off my bill.once was a depth finder from a certain magizine, claimed it was the greatest thing ever, turns out it was a damn joke, coulnt resolve it with them, gave me the ol"you bough it ,its yours" talk...other time was at a local detail shop, they sucked at cleaning my dads truck[it was a b-day present] they said id have to repay if i wanted it better, called capitol one, next thing you know it was off tyhe card, and it was billed BACK TO THEM!! im tellin you,you just cant rip people off anymore, they wont stand for it,especially when the credit card company is on you side...for once....

can't charge you back if the money isn't there.....I don't think. They need to get the money from someone.
If they went to chargeback the place that detailed your 'ol man's truck and the dough wasn't in the account, I think it would just bounce.
I am still wating to hear from Paypal if this is going to clear or not. It's still a pending refund.

06-13-2006, 10:30 AM
im not sure how it works really...only thing i know is that i wasnt charged, which was good for me,i figure they get money from "annual fees" and other such things...keep us posted on your refund situation..

Actually, the best part will be getting my money back. There was no need to go screwing us like this.
I have been in touch with the authorities in his area. I also managed to get some of his personal info now from various sources and will be forwarding all of it tomorrow. Along with it will be all of the correspondance between he and I.
I'll be looking to press charges as well as recoup the money I sent him if he still doesn't clear things with me. The detectives I spoke with were actually pretty cool. so we'll see.
If he is reading this, it'd be wise to just end it and send payment. It would be a lot easier to save some face now, then have the det.'s show up at his house involving other people.

I've been taking with V8Supercoupe about this for a while, but I haven't posted in this forum yet.
I also purchased the same set of rims, and recieved the same letter from paypal, saying that they decided the claim in my favour, but still don't get any money.
I am really frustrated and do not know what the hell to do.

You may want to look it up, but anymore doing things such as this on the internet is just as bad as robbing someone’s house, without the breaking and entering of course. My suggestion would be get together with everyone who has prove of payment to Robert have all documents in hand and present it to Law Enforcement. I would have to also say that with it being in different states it probably falls under some type of Federal Jurisdiction. Looks like he has gotten atlest 5 of you, probably more from other sites unknown, so the minimum he has stolen is $3000.00. But I don’t see that everyone going to separate local police offices is going to get any action taken as it will be presented as a $600 theft (Local police isn’t going to listen to what happened to someone 1000miles away on your club's site) rather than a $3000+ theft and proof that he has been doing this to others.. This guy is just like all of the other crooks/thief. He has a taste of what he can do/make off of being a "internet crook". If it’s not stopped, this wont be the last time this happens. The best suggestion as to who to present this to would be the Texas State Police, This guy's full name from the members page is Robert Zibilske, I just looked a Zibilske up on whitepages.com and they said wrong number when I called and asked for him, I wouldn’t have my number in the phone book ether if I stole money from people in the internet.. Anyway you also probably should get a hold of this guy below who from the tccoa site says he is freights with Robert, probably could get you some contact information. Take it from myself who has had to collect money from family owned apartments from trash such as Robert before, go threw the "great" legal system... It will take probably 6-8 months, but if you have the time, eventually you'll be getting monthly payments for your money, provided directly from Roberts' paycheck. Ok we'll I've rambled enough. Hope it gets resolved and Robert gets stopped.

Again im appalled to hear this news and will try to get ahold of him."

I have to be honest...yeah, I do still have the Whipple. I would likely work out some deal too, but if I can't get what I want for it, I won't bother. It will make it's way on my car if someone doesn't buy it. I had other plans for the car, but if I have to keep it, I will. I won't give it away.
And....back to the subject......

I am sitting home after surgery so I haven't been able to check the boards.
6 days in the hospital is no fun :( Got a nice scar and 8 staples to show for it.
Just figured I would jump on here and let everyone know my outcome.
I paid with a cc through paypal.
So..... even though paypal could not get my money back:
I payed in 2 payments with 2 diffrent credit cards.
My first card just takes the money directly out of paypals account and makes the money situation a problem between paypal and the seller.
My second card is still in dispute, but I did fax them emails and PM's to support my case.
I should only come out bruised from this one.
and to the top it goes............

For those interested. Robert has officially sold his car and was paid additional to deliver the car. The sale of this car has been the excuse all along that he couldn;t pay all parties involved back.
SO...we know he has money now.....Are you going to make good Robert?

yea keep the b/s comments coming.........i need something to do.
It wasnt a BS comment. Its the truth! If you would have maned up and refunded the money, you would have been alot better off, or hell, you would have been alot better off just by just selling the rims once! I see on TCCOA that your trying to correct the problem, and i do give you props on that. Atleast your trying to fix the problem after months of these people waiting for their money...... But, whats the deal with the post editing, what are you trying to hide?
