I've installed the rad fan that comes with the MP FMIC wiring into my Mustang, red to red and black to black wires. It is blowing towards the engine instead of blowing towards the rad.
Shouldn't it blow towards the rad????
Reverse the wires???

Paul,
the fan on the engine side of things should pull this blowing the air around the motor. If you have one infront of all that stuff it should be set up to push.

Fans should pull or push air through the radiator. Fan blades are often specifically designed to pull or push air when turning only one direction. Thus reversing the electrical flow won't allow the fan to work properly.

Hook it up like it should be and it should turn the right direction for the pitch of the blades on the fan to move air through the radiator.

Puller fans usually have some sort of cowel to increase their effiency. Pusher fans don't usually have a cowel.
