would debris from my broken SC get into my engine?

Depends on what happened to it. If the rotors somehow met at high RPM it could happen, but most of mine failed at the coupling, and its a sealed system, so no worries there.

yeah i figured thanks

anyways im told by some mechanics, its drivable, like drive it down to the supercharger specialists, instead of towing it agai. i dont know for sure.

he says its like driving without a sc.

~~~~~~~~ maybe.
You can pull the SC belt off of it and drive it. Then you wont have to worry about it coming apart, and you really wont have access to any boost:)
yeah huh, would this make noise still
do i cut it,
wait thats going to cost me money later to fix it, hows a guy supposed to take it off?
loosen the tensioner? then keep the belt for later?
will this also make the bearings less chattery?
Just remove the belt. All you need is an 18mm wrench.
You will have to take the other belt off of the Jackshaft pulley and then remove SC belt
In regards to the debris...remember that little rectangle box thing hooked up to them big ol' IC tubes ya got there? Thats just one big filter. It gets clogged, but it will stop any large harmful debris from entering the engine.
...oh and i think it helps cool the air or something too. :rolleyes:
