Clutch issues....

Have an 89 SC (5 speed). Has only had maybe 200 miles put on it in the past two years. I drove the crap out of it (mileage-wise) this weekend, and noticed that the clutch pedal is grabbing REAL high, like almost all the way out. It's definately not slipping, and I thought it might come back with some use on it, but it didn't happen. With 38,600 miles on the car I'm doubting it's wear related. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott G.

First thing I would do is check the clutch fluid resivoir to make sure that you have enough fluid in there.

It does. If anything, it acts almost as like there's too much in it.... I realize that's nearly impossible.

honestly, i had the exact same problem. Check the bushing on the master cylinder to clutch pedal.

But these cars are just like that. They grab almost at the end of the travel. I was worried too. But check the bearing just in case.
