I have a 1991 SC and I also have the Shop Manual (Body/Chassis/Electrical/Powertrain ) and if someone else has this manual can you help me with a part number? on page 21-15-33 they show the crankshaft rear main oil seal removal/replacement procedure. My question is further back on page 21-15-49 they show the parts break down of the motor. Is the crankshaft rear main oil seal shown as part 43 ? I think it is but would like someone elses opinion. Maybe someone who has replaced it already
I am removing the tranny to replace the front pump seal and while I'm under there I was going to replace the rear main seal as well. Last time I had the tranny out I noticed the rare main seal was starting to leak.
