I finally got this thing mounted. Put some pics up on my site. Click on the Tbird to get in. New pics are at the bottom. Anyone know where I can get some tight 90 degree bends in 3" exaust?

Thanks all!

Damn, I've seen a 3.8L mustang with a single turbo and his first time to the track he turned a high 11 second run and they kicked him out for improper saftey equipment (brake 11.99 and the is quite as bit more suff required) He was running a stock N/A bottem end with ported heads and a T-61 @ 12psi

VERY NICE.. its about damn time someone did this.. That car will probably click off mid 12 sec passes untuned.. Hey SCCoupe what are you doing for a Blow Off valve? Dont want no compressor surge blowing up your turbo dood.. I would suggest a BOV out of a 90-94 Eclipse.. These suckers are good for 30 psi crushed and cost $50 used or $90 new.. Good luck with the rest of the install and getting the car up and running right.. WE WANNA HEAR TRACK TIMES!!! :)

What did you get the turbo from? The IC looks like a Power stroke IC.

The intercooler is from a PS diesel. Picked it up for 225 shipped and its new. Ill cut about 4 inches off the top and cap the ends, that should make it fit. Beats paying 5 or 600 for a spearco. As far as the BOV goes, I havent bought it yet. Easy enough to install after I get everything else working. Was having a problem getting 3 inch exaust from the turbo back, when i found that I was trying to use 4 inch pipe (DOH!). I have the 3" pipe I need now, I should be good to go. Hope to have that part done by tomarrow evening. Oil lines are already run. So, Ill re-post if I make any progress to take pictures of. Thanks for the encouragement guys!

Forgot to add, turbo is from a 466 Detroit Diesel. Had to buy a smaller a/r turbin. If it doesnt make enough power (this one should be able to push just under 500) It can easily be upgraded to a 60-1 or 62-1 compressor. I cant see needing anything bigger at this point though. I dont know what kind of power those little rods are gonna take.
