Yes,, Exactly
It leaks at the butterfly shaft on the bypass. So much so that if you put your finger over the shaft, it'll suck your finger right onto it. It could be fixed on the rear side with a cover siliconed over the shaft hole but there's no way of fixing the leak on the front side where the linkage is.
Magnum Powers said they he's only heard of one other plenum leaking. Mine was the very first polished unit when he introduced the MAG3 line. I have one of the first castings.
