I was driving my 92 SC (5 Sp) when all of the sudden my car sputtered and died when i made a right turn to pull into my driveway. This is the second time it has done this when I am turning the wheel completely to one side and stopping at the same time. So I pulled my handy code scanner and got,

'Code 124: Throttle Position (TP) sensor - signal voltage is higher than expected'.

Would this code cause the symptoms i described? If so how do i fix it??? Do I just replace the TPS????

Thanks for your help.....

I don't think so.

Turning and having the car die sounds too much like a possible issue with wiring in the steering column. See if you can duplicate it in the driveway.

Start the car and then turn the wheel left to right, lock to lock. You might want to get the ground wet under the front tires to allow the power steering pump to relax a bit.

See if you can get it to happen and feel for any additional resistance in the wheel.

I think that code may come up if you don't do the test exactly right when you pull codes.
