What is the TQ setting for the four bolts holding the inlet plenum to the SC? I have seen two sets of numbers 6-9 ft/lbs and 15-22 ft/lbs. Also the bolts are 8mm x1.25 correct? Need to retap one of the holes. I was talking to a neighbor as I was installing the plenum and I heard snap and it wasn't the TQ wrench. SH%*!

Just get a 3/8" ratchet and tighten the damn things. Only things necessary to torque are headbolts, rod bolts, mainbolts, and crank bolt.

I try to not do what you suggested b/c I have a tendancy to overtighten things. I grew up thinking that tighter was better. Not always the case. A bad habit of mine. :o

I just tighten them by feel like CMAC said...I'm guessing somewhere around 25 ft lbs.
