But you probably don't want to use an AOD from a N/A T-Bird on an SC. The internals (just as with the engine) are not the same on the N/A and SC AOD's. It might work as a temporary solution, but the SC's torque will eventually trash the N/A tranny. You might do better with an AOD from a 5.0 Mustang.
The T-5 will bolt up, but the shifter will be located about where the radio console would be. I know at one time Rich at MN12Performance.com was selling a relocation kit to allow the T-5 to be used and the shifter to be in the correct place, but he has since gone out of business so I don't know if any of the other SC stores have picked up this piece or not.
