Maybe I'm just really tired this morning, but is there a cirgarette lighter in a 95 SC and where is it located? I'm currently daily driving my 95 5 spd SC due to garage reconstruction and I need to be able to charge my cell phone.

open the lid to the ashtray on the center console and it's right there.

Kurt,

If you can't find it, check the trunk. That's where I relocated mine when I moved my battery to the trunk.

Ok! I'll bite? Why is the cigarette lighter in the trunk? Do you only allow smoking in the trunk.

No, no, you need to install the new combination cell phone and cigarette lighter mod that comes special with its own wiring and 2, you heard me, 2 switches so that you can tell which mode you are in.

In addition, if you get the deluxe model, it comes with a dual guage, much like the stock boost gauge, that tracks both the temperature of the receptacle so you can watch as it reaches the required temperature to light a cigarette, AND, it also tracks voltage so you can see how much juice your cell phone charger is drawing.

After doing the required forum search, I found all this on EBay while doing the research to answer the original question, so if anyone wants more information let me know and I will send you the link.

Oh yea, they also claimed a .05% enhancement to your horsepower numbers based on some electrical flow formula that I didn't understand that this provides to your ignition system, but I really don't believe that. I guess your mileage may vary.

You must also use "Dot 5" blinker fluid as well. Don't forget to wash out your old stuff using a good grade of "Brake clean"... Also see the safty warning, and always wear safty glasses when doing this mod....That alone will make you get to the top ten list somewhere..........Rich

Well, I found it :D After years of daily driving my 92 SC, I was looking in the wrong places for the cigarette lighter. I absolutely cannot believe I overlooked to ashtry. Although I will cut myself a little slack, since I'm not a smoker.
