Some of you know that I'm building a new garage. Anyway, I'll be replacing a 19 x 22 attached garage with a 24 x 42 attached. Click the links below to see the progress :)

Kurt I notice on your pole you have two phase.
I don't know what type tools you plan to have later.
Maybe a lath, mill, welder, some need three phase electric.
Two phase or three, I would make sure to have at least
200 plus amp service. You can always install a convertor
later if you need a three phase for heavy tools.
Good luck on your build.

Glad to see you have finally started on the garage upgrade! The best money I ever invested in the car hobby was a 1,200sqft garage. But no matter how large the new garage is it will never be big enough.
When is the projected completion date?

Looks good
We all need bigger garages to keep all our SC goodies in :)

Kurt, your going to love the added space of the new garage. I had a 20 by 20 garage built in 1940 with two SC's, tools, and a ~~~~ load of other stuff in it and to say it was space limited would be an understatement. Last summer I tore it down and built a new 30 by 40 garage and I love the added space. Getter done.:)

Wow, you're older than dirt. So, that's where those two secret SC's that were built in 1940 were.

Looking good kurt, personally I thought you had plenty of room in your old garage :rolleyes:That's never the case with any garage :) I still won't have enough room, but it's all I could almost afford.

Food for thought.
Kurt I rolled epoxy on my shop floor. It cost $750.00 for 36x56 shop floor.
This price included 2 foot roller, acid, epoxy.
It has held up very nice,is easy to clean after spills. Nothing seems to
bother it,tranny fluild, brake fluild, gas, sweeping metal chip, I just wipe
fluilds up, and mop the floor and it still looks brand new. It is nice to
crawl under the car with epoxy floor, better than bear concrete.
I bought the epoxy from a Sherwin-Williams paint store. They can mix
about any color you would want.
I hated to lay the money out for the epoxy, but Its just a great
feeling for me to walk in my shop and see the light blue floor. It
make me feel like working.
The floor is not slick, but it makes it easier to slid under the car.
I did not buy and use any of the particles that you can throw
in the wet epoxy.

Thanks Randy, I have been thinking about it already. I'm also considering radiant floor heat, but I think I'm going to run out of money.
