wiring pinout needed (maybe someone with an EVTM)

I did a search but couldn't find what I'm looking for. Maybe it would help if I knew what the unit was actually called ;)

I need a pinout/wiring diagram for the DIN unit that replaces the VMM on non-vmm equipped vehicles. It's the unit that has the low fuel, low washer, door ajar, firm ride indicator and traction control switch on it. If someone has a schematic, that would be even better! This is for my '94; I'm not sure if it's different from the 89-93s.

Also, where are the firm ride, door ajar and traction control features located on cars that have a VMM?

TIA!

Vince

I can send you screen shots of the pin-outs tonight if they exist for that connector. I believe the unit IS the VMM for the 94+ (Low washer fluid would be a "maintenance monitor" indicator). First gen VMMs are the small ones above the radio. Second Gen VMMs are in the lower DIN of the new style dash. Some with the trac switch, others without depending on conventional or elec trac control system.

vmm?

I thought this was a VMM (thanks for the pic TinKnocker105):

This is what I have - lower right (thanks for the pic blown96bird):

I'm assuming they share a connector since their functions are so similar. Although there must be a few extra pins since this unit has the door ajar light and the T/C switch which the VMM doesn't have.

If you'd rather email them to me than post them here: vhayduk<at>shaw<dot>ca

Thanks!

The top VMM your showing there is from the earlier style birds and I don't think the 94+ had those.
